Remi has everything and more described in the description it was so well equipped. It was super cute and comfy! Sam was amazing to deal with and really easy going! Would definitely recommend booking Remi in for a getaway! My partner and I loved it!

Holiday was terrific in the van, it's especially good as it doesn't need a powered site so you can explore a campground for the best secluded spot! Woody/Sam was extremely responsive to questions pre and during. And the can is virtually new!

The Growth Inspired Team

Growth Inspired was launched by Carly Leverington and Sam Smith in 2021. We are passionate about inspiring people to create and sustain the change they desire so they can live a more meaningful and purposeful life. We reside on the beautiful Sunshine Coast and our favorite getaway spot is North Stradbroke Island. When we’re not on the road you may find us at Eumundi or Cotten Tree markets selling sustainable products that substitute single use plastic products.

In 2022 we have now added our passion for van life into the business with our first van Remi and new arrival of Truffle in September. We love hearing the feedback when our customers come back from a weekend away and are pumped with the experience.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is there a minimum age?

Our insurance covers hirers with a minimum age of 21. However, for hirers under the age of 25, Camplify will charge an additional excess of $600.

Can I take the van off road?

You will need to disclose your Off-Road interest in your Booking Request. Only upon discussion will it be considered.

We reserve the right to charge additional cleaning fees for Off-Road travel.

There's an emergency - what do I do?

If there is a normal issue with the van – call us first, we may be able to help guide you.

Breakdown – For NRMA Roadside assistance you must call Camplify on 1300 416 133. Then call us to let us know what is happening, as we will need to make the decisions on what happens to the van.

Accident – Stay safe, get off the road and call 000. If another vehicle was involved, take photos of the scene and obtain a copy of their Drivers Licence and registration. Call us and send through the information. Please notify Camplify when possible.

Will I need to pay a deposit?

Camplify requires a deposit of 25% to secure the booking, unless it’s within 30 days, then full payment is required. Once we have approved the booking, we ask that you pay within 48 hours of your booking request. If payment is not received within 48 hours we hold the right to cancel your booking.

What does the booking fee cover?

Camplify charges a 15% ‘booking fee’ on top of the daily rate and any ‘Optional Extras’ that are included in the hire. This booking fee includes 24/7 phone support, Nationwide 24/7 NRMA Roadside Assistance and a  Payment Protection Guarantee.

Can I reduce my Accident Excess in case of damage?

Yes! All of our bookings start on the ‘Standard’ Accident Excess package which is completely free and provides our hirers with damage protection above the excess amount.

Hirers then have the option to upgrade to either the ‘Silver’ or ‘Gold’ package, which will reduce their excess in the event of damage/accident to as low as $500 per incident.

This is very similar to the excess process when hiring a car.

Is there a bond?

All our bookings are processed through Camplify. Instead of a ‘bond’, Camplify has an Accident Excess. This works just like a hotel: they take an imprint of your credit card when you make a booking and we only take funds if damage occurs during the hire.

In the event of any damage occurring, the amount of money that is held will be equivalent to the Accident Excess package when you make the booking. This is done on a per-incident basis just like with car rentals.

Is damage cover included?

Our van has comprehensive rental cover, protecting it against accidents and damage whilst on hire. Each booking is processed through Camplify meaning that damage protection is included at no additional cost.

In the event of damage, the maximum you will have to pay (per incident) will be your Accident Excess. This can be reduced by upgrading the Accident Excess package to  ‘Silver’ or ‘Gold’.

How do I make a booking?

To book a van through Camplify you will first need to be a member of our community. If you are yet to do so you can sign up here: Sign Up to Camplify

After you have created your account, use the search bar at the top of the page to search the location that you either would like to collect the vehicle from or would like the vehicle delivered to.

This will take you to a page displaying all the listings in that specific area or region. Should you wish there will be a filter bar towards the top of the screen that will allow you to filter for things such as:

Dates for hire

Vehicle type

Amenities

Berths (number of people who can sleep in the van)

Hire type etc

Once you find a van that you are interested in hiring, click on the listing and you will be able to view further details in regards to the van. If after reading through the vehicle description, amenities and hiring rules you are still wanting to hire you will be able to send through a booking request by entering your desired dates in the calendar on the right hand side of the screen. When you enter in these dates a breakdown of the costs and a button “Request to Book” will appear. Please check this costing before sending through the request to ensure you are happy with the charges for the van.

Once you hit the “Request to Book” button you will be redirected to a second page that will allow you to select any extra products you may want to add and provide you an opportunity to send a message to the vehicles owner.

Please note that most owners will have a set list of questions for you to answer, failing to do so may result in them declining your booking as this is how they vet their hirers. Once you answer their questions and potentially ask some of your own you will be able to finalise your request and send it through. *Once you have completed this process you will be able to have a conversation with the owner via the platform message system.

After the two of you have finished speaking about the hire the owner will approve your booking and provide you with 48-72 hours to make payment.* *

After payment is secured, you will discuss with the owner in regards to the pickup and drop off times that suit you both.

When you are closer to the hire dates you will be notified of the pick up location.

On the day of hire the owner will conduct a handover of the van and demonstrate the correct use for your hire.

* A booking request is an expression of interest, a booking is not confirmed until the owner approves and a hirer pays. 

** Different Owners will have different deadlines for the deposit payment, the times listed are a guide not a ruling. 

Do I need previous experience or a special licence?

No – our campervan hire service is beginner-friendly and you don’t need a special license. However, we do have a minimum hirer age of 25 years.

Is there a minimum hire period?

There is a 3 day (2 night) minimum hire. During peak holiday periods this may increase without notice.

What's included vs what's an extra?

Included complimentary in our van is:
